991 Recall
Just read the recall below. (Mine shows a 1/12 manufacture date...)
Washington, DC—(ENEWSPF)—March 24, 2012.
Summary: Porsche is recalling certain model year 2012 911 Carrera S vehicles manufactured from October 26, 2011, through January 24, 2012. Interference between a coolant line and a fuel line may cause the fuel line to become disconnected at the quick connector.
Consequence: If the fuel line becomes disconnected, a fuel leak may occur. A fuel leak could lead to the engine misfiring or stalling, increasing the risk of a crash. A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source could increase the risk of a fire.
Remedy: Porsche will notify owners, and dealers will replace the fuel line with a new fuel line, free of charge. The Safety Recall is expected to begin in April 2012. Owners may contact Porsche at 800-767-7243.
Notes: Porsche’s Safety Recall number is AC02. Customers may contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's Vehicle Safety Hotline at 888-327-4236 (TTY: 800-424-9153); or go to http://www.safercar.gov.

Burning Brakes
Wow... Is this a mistake in the building process or was this somehow missed while testing and engineering the car?

AC02- FUEL LINE SAFETY RECALL NOTICE
Porsche AG has decided that a safety defect exists in certain 2012 911 Carrera S (991) vehicles. Accordingly, a recall to address this issue is being initiated effective March 23, 2012.
There is a possibility that a quick connector coupling on a fuel line on the underside of the affected vehicles could contact a coolant pipe. If the fuel line is contacting, the locking function of the quick connector could be impaired, causing the coupling to open and, as a result, fuel leakage. This can result in engine misfiring or cause the engine to stall, increasing the risk of a crash. A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source could result in a fire.
All effected vehicles must have a spacer ring installed on the fuel line. If the fuel line is contacting the coolant pipe, the fuel line must be replaced and a spacer ring installed. The necessary inspection and installation of the fuel line spacer ring will take approximately one and a half hours to perform. An additional two hours will be needed should the fuel line have to be replaced.
Owners will be notified by mail about the recall beginning in April. There is no cost to owners for this recall.

Who else got their recall done?
What Dealer?
How long did it take if you made an appointment?
Lets see who the dealer of shame is and who is top notch.
I just got my notice but haven't scheduled yet.
