If that was the biggest problem I would've kept my gt2.
By the time they are out, and who ever buy them first can drive around here, either I'm driving a 4.3 or maybe retired

Almost all of the advantages quoted for this electric steering setup – less weight in the rear of the car, no bulky hydraulic lines running the length of the car, not having to run the pump all the time – are also true of hydraulic steering driven by an electric motor. The whole setup can be installed in the front end of the car. Toyota had exactly such a setup in their mid/rear-engine MR2 way back in the early 90’s, and it worked quite well. I’m sure there must be some advantage to Porsche’s new all-electric system, or else they wouldn’t have done it. But the benefits listed above do not require all-electric steering to achieve.
