Default 991 test drive and my build

I drove 991S with PDK today. This was an eye-opener with regard the PDK. It felt absolutely fantastic..shifts were like gun fire. I am seriously considering getting the PDK now.

The engine just screamed when u floor the pedal. The symposer is good. The car felt so well planted, it is far from the feel of 997. On hard cornering there is none of slipping and sliding that you in the 997. The 20 inch wheels felt great and the suspension was smooth over the rough just like in all other reviews.

The interior feels better than the 997 but didn't feel like a super-car. But it still like a sports car and that way it is not much of a departure from the old Porsches.

I have tweaked my build a little more:
991S
Guards Red
Wheels painted black
Sports design Steering with pedals
Black Full leather interior
Deviated stitching and seat belts in Guards Red
PDK
Sunroof
Bose
PASM with PDCC
Sports Chrono Plus
PSE
Premium Plus package with adaptive sports seats

I guess that is it.

Will place the order once the sea;reship gets the allocations. Looking at Summer delivery date

Stunning build - similar to mine in performance spec, but with the additions of deviated stitching etc. Very nice and congrats.

Out of curiosity, what did you add/remove following the test drive?

I included the sunroof and PDK is one for now. The rest of it is the same.

I agree on PDK, I was not considering it at all until I had my drive in the 991 with PDK.

Very nice build. I think your red/black combo with the red deviating stitching and belts will be spectacular.

Just make sure you don't miss any deviated stitching. Other than that, very nice!

Yes. At the moment I cant order deviated stitching on the steering and the gear shift boot. PDK resolves the gear shift boot problem. but the sterring i have to do without or wait a long time. I gonna pass that one.

Just go aftermarket, either through a good high-end upholstery shop or a company like Techart. My OCD would drive me nuts if I didn't fix that!

Did your test car have PDCC? My test car was without and I didn't find it a smooth ride at all...
