Over 200 people, valet parking, nice beverages and light food.....bratwurst of course.......violins, etc.....black on black 991 S......silver/black may have shown off the car better.........

Nice touch of having one each of previous 911 types there nearby.......

Would have been a nice idea to show an evolutionary chart or short presentation showing how the new car has evolved from comparative performance standpoint, design, measurements, etc...

All in all it was a great time to see fellow Porsche people and also talk with people that knew nothing about P-cars....

hahah! I'd love to see the pics. Should have sent my parents to this event.... They are huge Porsche enthusiasts My mom grew up driving them!

 

Sized them smaller, hope clarity ok......sun roof not a hit with anyone so far.....

More photos............think they should have used another color for launch to show lines better..........i.e. silver or anthracite color......

 

Car looks great, they should of order it with Black exterior and Red Interior.

 

Dealer said they had no option with launch car colors, they got what was allocated.....Asheville is a small dealer, so no pull whatsoever........it is good for us here when they allocate anything special, i.e., GT3's, Turbos, etc....as there is usually one sitting there for quite a while and the rest of the nation is scrambling looking for them........when GT3 RS was launched a few years back, that car was here quite some time and was sold to another dealer........which is probably regular procedure

Nissan dealer is next door and usually has 3 or 4 GTRs sitting for months......
