I've noticed on some of the launch cars that the interior door panel is all one color, meaning the bright silver painted horizontal trim is the same color as the leather (e.g., grey). I like the silver trim, and would be bummed if my full leather Carrera red didn't have the silver trim. Can someone please confirm that the non-silver trim is an option, therefore I don't need to do anything specific.

 

The "Leather Interior" option gives you the aluminum strip. The standard "Partial Leather Seats" and the optional "Leather Seats" interiors do not have the aluminum strip. You should be good. To confirm this, go to the Porsche configurator and click on each of the three interior selections.
