atlas gray...
going to go drive/decide on this car this afternoon, would be trading in my 09 C4S, time for something different. atlas gray/atlas gray with WAY too many options (126k) atlas gray interior is a trip haven't seen anything like it almost brown. drove a fairly basic (111k) black one yesterday car feels down right plush compared to my current pcar. not sure if its right for me yet. interior will take some getting used to. going from sport buckets to regular seats I'm sure has much to do with it. no doubt it is a bigger feeling car (not that that is bad) the 991 is absolutely gorgeous in person well done porsche!! also have my eye on a 800 mile 2010 GT3RS, which has always been my modern day dream porsche. going to be a tough call. love ALL pcars.

The new 991's technology and advancements are incredible. You will also see that the interior build quality is several steps up from where it was. It is more of a GT car than an outright sports car so really a question of what you want. I don't like the Agate Grey. Reads way too brown for my taste. I am doing Basalt/Black. I wish Atlas was still offered. Beautiful color.

I have Slate Grey on my 997. I had initially ordered white, but when I was at the Rolex 24, they had a white 991 and there were too many seams in the body panels (the sunroof and rear quarter panels) that were not on the 997. They had an Agate Grey car on display. I changed my order to Agate Grey. It is very close to Slate Grey and has brown and green characteristics that change based on the ambient color temperature.

I saw the Agate at Daytona, as well. That is the color of my car which I should get on Wednesday. I liked the "earthy" depth in the paint--not as monchromatic as some grays (slate is one of my favorites). I 'm anxious to see it with my Luxor interior choice.
