Park Place Porsche in Dallas has a 991S on their showroom floor - platinum silver on black. Very nice in person. I was surprised, however, at how little the exterior appearance differs visually from a 997 as compared to the previous recent redesigns (996 vs. 997.1, 993 vs. 996). From pictures, and with the longer wheelbase, I guess I thought it'd look significantly different than the 997.2 and it just doesn't (a good thing, if you ask me).
I agree that intially it doesn't look much different. However, when you put the 997.2 next to the 991 you will see the differences especially in the rear of the car. I also am glad that it is not a radical departure from the 997.2 on the exterior.

I got the Boardwalk invite, and forgot about PP. I should go by. What did you think of the silver/black look? I could slip the new car by everyone, if I get the same silver/black as my 997. I hear it's a very unique look.
