Default No Sport Buckets on the 991?

Is this going to be an option?

It probably will be an option but I guess; they will share the 991 GT3/2's bucket seats. So we need to wait for the new GTs first

You are correct, there is no sport bucket option for the 911...in any market. The real question is if they will be optional in the next GT3. As the next GT3 gets a 9A1 engine, the same 7-sp manual/option 7-sp PDK as the 991 Carrera/S and electronic steering like the car S (universally not like be testers); I am wondering if it will even get a decent set of seats?

that doesn't mean there will not be sport buckets for the 991. they are not available at the moment.

i'm certain the GT based 9A1 and pdk will be up to task for the gt3/rs, as well as optional sport buckets of some variety.

The sport buckets are now available on the German configurator as well as the aerokit. I assume availability for the US market won't be far behind. Once the C4S hits the market, I will be really tempted.

Good catch and good news. The sport buckets are a must have, IMO.

If your German is not that good, you can find the new options in the Swedish configurator as well... it's in English:

www.porsche.se

Just click on "Bygg din Porsche" on the start page and the rest is in English

Do we know whether 997 sport buckets bolt right in to 991 cars?

They are on the UK configurator too (and they appear to be £200 cheaper than the Adaptive Sports Seats Plus)???

i really like those seats, wish they were an option when i ordered... 800 for sport plus seats is good, but 2200 more for carbon buckets?, sold!
