Default Hard Tops?

Anyone seen a configurator that includes a hard top option? Perhaps it's not out yet since there is no cab option yet.

Perhaps they won't offer a hard top for the 991, given that he "soft" top is an articulating hard top covered in fabric.

I just wondered, because I am thinking that they will have to redesign it--the 996 and 997 windshield angles and mounting points were kept the same so that the hardtops wouldn't have to be reengineered.

Cool

The cabriolet configurator might be up and running by now, since it has been "officially announced." As Tim said, the roof for the cabriolet is actually an articulated hard top covered with fabric to convey the soft top look - little more than a 1960's vinyl top. Read through the details on the Porsche website. I would not expect them to make a "shiny" top an option for the cab. But who knows.
