I already emailed Porsche USA and asked them why they exclude Bumperettes in the US version. Totally ruin the car for me.

The colour should be the same but they are indeed different in shape and position. I assume it has to do with North American regulations that might test impacts with higher velocity or contact area. Since these reflectors have to remain intact during this procedure, one has to either build them from more durable material or relocate them to a position outside of the contact patch. I suppose the latter is the case...

Do I understand this right, you miss these bumperettes? If so, wow... didn´t expect anybody to prefer the NA version of Porsche´s rear bumpers.

Unfortunately, the rear bumperettes do spoil the lines of the 997 and 991, but they do save you a bunch of money when you impact something back there. I would much rather repaint and replace 1 or 2 bumperettes than the entire back end.
