Default Some observations/questions

i'm soo ****:

1. How come XM radio is not available w/ the Broomiester?
2. Looking at the configurator , it appears that carbon fiber isnt available. Anybody know?
3. A Porsche crest rather than all the lettering would look nice on the rear.
4. Why are 5mm spacers even offered? Just offer wider wheels/tires!
5. When comparing the 991 vs 997, the weight difference b/w the stick and pdk are:
991 45lb
997 66lb
Why is this?

The weight differences could be because the 991 comes with a 7-speed, based quite a bit upon the PDK. The 997 only came with the 6-speed or a PDK later in its evolution. My guess is that the 6-speed weighs less than the 7-speed in the 991.
Carbon fiber may be getting dropped from the lineup because of the problems they have had with that stuff. It turns yellow in time and delaminates. They probably had too many warranty claims on it.''

Thank goodness. It looks crappy before it even starts delaminating.

IMHO of course

ahhh yes, the additional COg in the stick is prob it.

90% of the CF's issues has to do w/ the resin/coating used. UV rays kill CF so a proper coating is required. NOT CHEAP.

Carbon Fiber will eventually be available, but at the moment it isn't.

Was available on Canadian config last I checked. They did take some options off recentley (like painted seat backs) as the Exclusive department is apparently backed up...
