so far so good. Looks nice. A bigger 997. Great competition for other full size GT coupes.
now, the real question is transmission and engine for GT3.
if the car only has manual tranny and 450hp then you might as well keep your 997.1,.2 GT3........... no real difference in performance.
I would consider replacing my .1RS only if a semi auto tranny was offered.
Now, if i didnt already have a GT3 porsche, then a 991 GT3 would be a choice ride for sure, no doubt about it.

Anyway, back on topic. I like these photos far better than what I have previously seen barring the wheels and color of course.

The wheels look like Salad Forks (the kind you use to toss a salad) and are fugly, IMO. First they gave us Lobster Forks and now Salad Forks.
Note to Porsche wheel designer: Spend less time at the dinner table. You are taking too many design elements from the silverware!

I'm sure it will be a great car, but looks like it is going to be a rear engined 928- bigger and more of a GT cruiser, not a true sports car. Even my .2GT3 looks big next to my son's 993 and the new 911 will be even bigger. I know it will lighter but overall size matters...
I plan on keeping the 997 the more I see of the "new" 911...

I just don't think it looks that much different or better than the 997. We'll see what the power/technology brings, but I'm not feeling like we will be astounded.
