OMG, will a snow plow option be available?

That's typical Porsche test mule camouflage.

i think it look quite OK.

what are they going to do with engines? what was all that speach about ditching current dry sump mezgers which they put into gt3 cars?
is new 991 going to have same prototype motor for all classes from base to cup car? or was it just a baseless speculation?

New pictures.
Same 991 car as we've seen in the past.
Looks so much like a 997 in my opinion.

I want the fake Turbo air intake stickers...just for showing up at a DE...would be a huge laugh!

I see Porsche is still using the same rotors with holes...DANG IT...I would rather have slotted rotors that would last longer and the stupid holes not get all clogged up with brake pad material at the track.

Maybe those brakes aren't the final production pieces. One can hope.......

I think the full rear shot shows for the first time a good deal of the rear tail lights, or should I say, what is underneath the camouflage layer underneath. It seem they will be very fine and wide.

Anyways too much camouflage to know if it will look good. It seems even the whole front fender is a camouflage.

Am I the only one to notice that the rear window is a hatch? The reason I suggest that is because the mule car carries an antenna on the right rear fender--and the cabling for it is routed to the window. Doubtful the drilled a hole to do that--but merely slipped the wire through the hatch. Perhaps someone decided that the Targa's rear hatch should be universally available to all the coupes.

I have noticed that - when see through the bodywork illusion - the 991 engine bay is much taller, longer, and wider than the current 997. I wouldn't be surprised if it can fit a eight-clyinders engine of some sort in there.

Regards,

Any ideas on when we'll see/hear something official from Porsche on the new model?

I was in my local showroom a few days back, was told that it is running late and that wouldn't expect to the end of 2011 or even early 2012.
