So for me, the looks don't say "WOW, gotta have one!". But it looks nice enough that its style wouldn't prevent me from getting one either.

As long as the interior quality is up there and the sport driving ergonomics are good, the interior design style and features are not that important as a factor for me. Performance and price is what matters most. If Porsche can keep the price in check and dramatically improve performance, that would tip the scales for me to get one sooner vs. later.

Otherwise, I'd probably opt for a used GT3 mkII or GTS when the time comes for my next 911.

Silly wing might be a given since it's the same on both cab and coupe spy photos.

Too bad if the extremely elegant protractible spoiler has been outvoted by the poser instincts of buyers.

I don't know what to think. Either way it's not that great. I hate to think that way.

(thanks)

Default Dont Like That Lip/Line About The Rear Lights

I think it kind of reminds me of an Aston or BMW - lots of creases for the sake of creases. Not a fan of it.

I hate to admit it but I don't find very many angles appealing as well. This is the only angle I enjoy looking at.

It will be sad if there are any angle's it looks bad at. Sorta like how I feel about the Panamera.

Honestly I wasn't to impressed with the rear of the 997 and the height they added to the engine bay but these photos of the 991 look terrible. It looks like the roof line has lengthened and the rear looks more like a Aston Martin then a 911. The front looks squashed in.

I am 2 gen back and I am in the market for a faster Porsche to join it in the garage but if the 991 looks like this I may be looking at a Cayman or 997 GT3 variant even though they have really bad problems blowing coolant couplings.

The 911's have always looked just a bit different from gen to gen....thats the way it is and Porsche will keep it that way: very slight changes......I love it!

I can understand the Aston Martin references from the camera angle looking down on the rear, however from this view it instantly reminded me of the original 911's engine compartment lid's trailing edge, lining up with the tops of the taillights...

These are the photos I think are unflattering. The ones previously posted here look ok.

The suspension and wheels/tires look quite odd. Not sure why that would be - is it part of the camouflage?
Also, this photo:

looks really fake.
Not sure what any of that means, but with the front still under a mask, I'm not drawing any conclusions overall, yet.

The front and rear fenders are made from duct-tape... seriously, how good can this look ??
