Damn, I'll never buy a Cabrio now. I can't get that image out of my mind.

Gotta wonder if a component failed and caused him to lose control. Very, very sad.

Sad.

Anyone else wonder what is with that barrier??? Looks to have designed to receive impact a little too high and with too small a surface area; ie, at head level and away from the structural elements designed in the doors, etc. I realize a sports car was involved; but such low slung cars are not to be unexpected.

This is truly tragic, something most of us don't often, if ever see. My condolences to his family.

As an additional comment, his age is indicative that at any age, life is truly short.
