Can anyone identify what this small part does or how it's supposed to be?
While putting the fans and engine cover back on after changing the oil filter, I noticed this little plastic tab on the right side of the car. Any idea what it's for? Looks like it should hold a cable or something in place maybe.
It's attached at one point and kind of swivels / rotates around.
I think I found it in this youtube video, looks like it holds the fan wire to the engine cover latch release cable somehow. But mine is flat -- maybe it got deformed or something over the years.
