Default Kaizen Standard v. Low Profile cup holder?

Had not seen much talk of this other than it's a bit small. But have the Rennline phone mount killing the left factory holder. I am ok with this holding something and not everything.

Didn't know if anyone had experience with the low and/or standard profile sizes on these:

Easy DIY cup holders using a nylon bread board and a couple bicycle water bottle holders.

I have the standard Kaizen cup holder and I love it. It looks like it came with the car and perfectly fits 500ml water bottles.

With my 7 speed manual that cup holder is right in the way of my right arm when shifting and useless.

I’m in PDK, easy mode. So think it won’t be too in the way…. Probably.

Thanks, I’ll probably do the standard. Just didn’t want to be racking my elbow on it even while empty. But the slim seems quite slim and the standard doesn’t seem too obnoxious.

I also have a PDK. It's low enough that I never hit it. You are cognizant it's there when something is in it but I've never had an issue with its placement.

It’s fine but of all my accessories it made me feel stupid for paying so much for a little piece of plastic…

That I hear. Talking about $100 for a plastic cup holder. 🧐
