Default Back in the saddle again…

Picking up a new to me CPO 991.1 C4S manual today. 2014 with only 23k miles and all service records and only two owners. Traded a CTS4 BW in for it. Not a fancy build but has sports chrono and premium package. Black on black. Pics soon to come.

What I love about the 991 is how timeless it is. This is a 12 year old design!!

PS. Those orange side markers must be destroyed.

It’s like a brand new car inside. No creases in the leather or anything. A well kept garage queen with 23k miles on it. I was bouncing around on cars.com and found it, not really looking to buy but after a nice test drive on a twisty road near Hunt Valley I was hooked. At 61 decided to stop the motorcycle riding after 35 years and 200k miles of fun and get a safer toy. Porsche of Hunt Valley was great to work with and gave me some merch goodies with it too. I’ll probably order some black and white checker coco mats for it.

Default Nice ride...why not do both ?

I just switched to the new Honda Transalp which is perfect for those who have matured and prefer to be more upright. The handling of the bike is straight out of the future and 20 times better than anything I have every ridden. Fully Sequential no lift/clutch shifts and 400 pounds for $9999. Honda knocked this one out of the park.

I’ve had to start taking BP meds and other drugs that have affected my balance a bit, I was on stage 2 hypertension so I’ve had to take 10 mg a day of the meds, no way I can ride in the heat and lean the bike over given how it affects my balance. I tried a few times and was missing my marks and apexes on the turns quite a bit, running wide at times. So no more motorcycles. I did sportbikes for 35 years and was licensed in WERA and CCS for racing too.
