Default Anyone have Soul Valved and Cat delete?

Hey everyone,

Does anyone here have a Soul valved PSE system and cat deletes? Would like some input if you think the valved system was worth it over and above the stock rear PSE.

Currently my car is Soul catless into Stock PSE 991.2

I have the SOUL valved exhaust with SOUL 200 cell cat headers and they are BY FAR better than PSE. My car is a 2013 C2S and notice once installed the power delivery being noticeably stronger through the whole power band and the sound is a million times better. Everyone I come in contact with (drive with) says I have the best sounding 911. HIGHLY recommend it.

My 991.1 S has a full Soul exhaust: Long Tube Competition Headers and Valved Performance Exhaust. I purchased my car with this exhaust and only test drove 991.1 base and S models with stock exhausts so that is my only point of comparison. I rarely drive with the valves open. The sound attracts loons from miles around wanting to race and I am not a proponent of street racing. I do love the bark on start-up when the valves are open; I get comments on it all the time. I was sitting in a McDonalds parking lot one time waiting for my order and a group of teenage boys asked me to rev it. I did so with the valves closed and got a thumbs up; I then opened the valves and revved it again and they actually jumped. It was hilarious.

So in summary - I love the sound of the car with the valves open but rarely if ever drive it that way. I cannot say what the sound / performance difference would be between the stock PSE and Soul valved exhaust with long tube headers. The sound / performance of my exhaust with in normal mode, closed and opening automatically under full throttle, is absolutely mesmerizing. I am very happy the previous owner replaced the entire exhaust.

Martin

Ask yourself is it worth the extra $$ and how often would you be running with the valves open if its that loud. I had 200 soul cats and PSE, after a couple years I kinda got tired of the constant barking every time I got off the gas and found myself running in sport with the valves closed more.

I never close the valves on mine! Thats the beauty of having an aftermarket exhaust......you buy it for the power gains/sound.

Thats the perfect example of personal preference. I like some additional sound but I dont need everyone turning saying what the hell is that thing.

Yes it will make a noticeable difference, we sell these all the time, and then the street headers for the 991.1.

We will work you a deal on a set of them!

Correct, and they just release it like a week ago, so you aren’t going to find anyone with it except that one guy who’s car they used to develop the system. He’s on the forum and commented on the Soul thread. You may get better response to just reply to that existing thread.
