Also, not sure where the $1k+ price quotes are coming, with the discount code, with tax and shipping mine still didn't break $1k (they even suggested the cheaper, 40Ah). I realize it's still 3-4x what I could otherwise pay for, but I rationalized that people pay a lot for weight savings.
And why would I want to lighten up the front of my car to get an even higher rear weight bias? Unless you are in competition racing at the world class level, it will make zero difference.
Besides, I do not need the bragging rights.
