there is a jumping procedure using the interior of the vehicle to allow you to reopen the hood, FWIW.

Anyone around when these were popular knows they can be defeated in less that 30 seconds with canned air and a hammer.

Urban myth. I tried it for kicks decades ago when I stopped using the club, it doesn’t work. I’ve heard dry ice can do it, but who carries that around? BTW I don’t actually use this anymore, just a relic from my university days when I used to park on the streets of East Baltimore in the 90s. Now I’m not even sure a car thief would know what it is, so it might not be a very good deterrent after all

And as long as you are prepared for that then it’s all good. But, not all folks think through everything…

Is it a stick? If so, you don't even need to lock the doors - problem solved :-)

No? Well....

As of this moment there is no starting the car without a key OR a keyless relay attack.
If they are stealing your car it's either keyless relay or a flatbed.

What is the threat? Is it parked in public (no security)?
Is it in a private garage in single family home?
Condo parking or multi housing garage with low security?

If in your private garage - physically lock the garage door from the inside. That prevents someone electronically opening the door by hacking the garage door signal.
You can also set up cameras/surveillance relatively inexpensively that you may monitor from your phone or remote device. As long as the camera is good quality, and has infra-red capability, or the lighting is good - you can capture photos of anyone attempting anything with your car. Of course if their faces are covered it may not be too helpful, but if you capture images of their vehicle, it might help.
