Numeric Racing Shifter & Cables
I own a 2018 991.2 Carrera T and have had quite a few mods carried out over the last 6 years. One of my last mods I have planned is to get a Numeric Racing shifter & cables fitted.
Anyone else fitted this to their manual 991.2? Would be grateful for any real world feedback!
Cheers!

My 2019 T came with shifter, cables and stronger spring. Took awhile for me to get used to it, but I really like it now. Don't have a before comparison, but it's a very "direct" feel for shifting. The spring in mine makes getting into reverse tough (which isn't necessarily a bad thing) and 7th took a little getting used to.

I have it on my manual C2S and it greatly improves the feel of the shifting. It feels more solid & precise. Less buttery soft. Go with the 2mm spring for a tighter feel, but as mentioned above, it will take a little time to get used to. The shifter is a fairly easy DIY. There is a great video showing it down from start to finish in under 20 minutes. I would really like to do the cables one day, which is said to improve the feeling even more, but it is a much more involved DIY and I'm just not ready to take that one on. If you're comfortable with the cost of paying someone to do it, I'd say go all in and get both the shifter and cables. I can't imagine anyone charging less than $500 labor for the cables.

I installed the shifter, no cables.
The 7 Speed was good before , now its next level .
Rifle action precision shift action , best MOD so far .
Get the stifter spring , 2MM?

Full disclosure: I have ordered the shifter (2mm spring) and cables from Numeric. Am not much of a DIY guy, so will be happy to pay my local indy to do the installation.
