Default Soul exhaust vs Tubi Style

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone had any experience with the 2 different exhausts for the 3.8L Carrera S. PSE

The Tubi comes with 2 side mufflers, looks like Soul only comes with center

I have the Tubi on way from Italy just wondering if i made a mistake

Thanks

I have Soul headers, cats, and exhaust on my base 3.4 and it sounds really good.
I haven’t heard Tubi though, so for all I know yours may sound better…

I wouldn’t put too much thought into it. I’m sure you’ll be happy with the sound.

Go with SOUL, they are the best sounding most powerful for the 991 series. I have the full SOUL headers (200 cell) and valved exhaust and everyone I meet says I have the best sounding Porsche. You can feel the difference in power as well. Mid range is certainly (by fair) better and the fit/finish is perfect. Highly recommend them.

Does the soul valved center exhaust use the existing side mufflers? Or does it delete the side mufflers completely?

Everything is a bell curve. Like most products, the majority go for cheap. A few out on the edge go for cheapest and nasty, and a few on the upper edge go for the best.

The number 1 selling car is never the best one, its always a cheap one.

Yes, they do. I was thinking of removing them and saving the weight to be honest.

I just finished installing the Soul 200 cell catted headers and valved center section exhaust on my 2016 3.8 GTS. Very happy with the sound. Valves closed it's got a nice low rumble until you open up the throttle. Valves open full throttle its a beast. I haven't noticed any droning issues with the package.

I never close the valves on mine.....and for the people that complain about "drone".....shouldn't put performance exhaust (parts) on their cars!

There is a big distinction between noise/volume/tone versus drone.

A tuned exhaust should move the point of droning/resonance outside of a normal rpm range of cruising on the highway, or into a point where the volume is so loud that you would not notice it.

I like loud exhausts / turbo whistle / induction noise, but am not a fan of droning.
