Default AFE vs Rennline carbon fiber intake

Hi,

Sorry i didn't find a thread comparing the two carbon fiber intakes for a 991.1 S 3.8

Which one would you recommend and why?

Thanks

I can't imagine the weight savings would be significant. Why would one want a carbon fiber intake?

Not just weight savings, there are some performance upgrades to it as well

Doubtful. Porsche spent a lot of time designing and tuning the intake. Their resources are much deeper than any aftermarket company. Why would they leave performance on the table in something as simple as the shape of the intake? Carbon fiber parts are primarily for looks or weight reduction. The intake is invisible.

Carbon intake is very efficient, actually.

At removing cash and a few grams of weight equivalent to skipping the starbucks that day.
