Would you buy a 10 year old ultralow mileage 991?
Hi, I have the opportunity to buy a 2014 991 with just 6k miles on it for pretty attractive price. It is a one owner car which is hardly driven. It seems that the owner changed oil and brake fluid every 2-4 years. I know when I buy this car I have to invest couple grand to replace all fluids and do the PDK service. Other than that, would you buy such a car? Are there any major risks? Are there any members with similar cars and did you have any issues so far?
thank you!
thank you!

I'd say get a good PPI and then do the deal.
Post up the VIN so we can see what you are buying.

something something bore scoring?
there's a very nonzero chance of the owner starting the car "just to warm it up"
as above, get a proper PPI and expect to do every single time-based maintenance item, inclusive of rubber components like the serpentine belt.
the concern about those long oil change intervals, even if it's undriven, is the water absorption (or adsorption?) and condensation. oil is hygroscopic.

I just bought the 12 year old 991.1 S Cab with the 21k on the odometer.
The engine oil and other fluids were changed every 2-4 years according to a service history as well. However, the PDK service has not been done..
The car was in pristine condition in and out, but I still had the concerns over the long run. Only the time will tell if the vehicle is reliable.

I wouldn't have an issue with it at all. PPI it and ensure maintenance is up to date.
Then start putting miles on it. These cars need run time.

I have a 2012.5 that I purchased three and a half years ago with 13.6K miles on it. What's the issue?

Oil is very intelligent. It knows how old it is and changes to acid....... My boat engine first oil change was at 7 years, only reason changed was oil filter rusted through. Used the boat another 15 years with bi-annual oil changes and sold to a guy still using it. Probably 3K hours on it. So many nightmares people create in their own minds. I would have ZERO reservations buying and driving car.
