Noticed rust stains coming up thru the passenger rear SPASM shock - 2013 C2S with 25k miles. Is that normal?

Drivers Side - Seems odd inside the cabin to see this.

Passenger side looks fine

By comparison, the drivers side is squeaky clean. I'd think it was water from above but no other signs.

normal? I'd say no. the rear shock tops are a relatively common failure point. I had my driver side audibly fail on my 2017 at ~54k miles. I could see water ingress happening as a byproduct of this.

Thanks. No noise or other odd behavior (yet) but if the water ingress is a symptom, I'll keep watch.
