This morning my blower motor went to high and nothing I could do to turn it off. I could redirect air and change the temp but could not turn it off - it was always on high even with the controls saying off and the defrost button not engaged - I tried several times going on and off with the defrost - the defrost light did toggle but did not make any difference. Turned the Fan to off still blowing on high. The odd thing was even with the ignition turned off it kept on blowing high. Thats odd!

I ended up disconnecting the battery as I could not find the fuse the first time quick enough.

Anyone ever have this happen to them?

This is a 2014 Carrera S Coupe.

I had mine fixed by the dealer and it was really reasonable.

Very common. Happened to mine, too. I had to pull the fuse (passenger side, if I recall) to get it to stop until I got the blower resistor replaced under CPO.

Happened to my 991.1 C2. Ran battery down Pulled fuse and drove fine. Took to dealer. Was relay and another component. Most of the cost covered by extended warranty. Two days for parts to come. No issues since. Was summer 2020.
