I believe it's due for another price reduction in a week or so which is also what I am waiting for, so if it does drop down to 90k I might grab it barring no other 911s pop up in my sights.

It's not unreasonably priced and still under CPOI warranty. If you like the spec and it's the budget ballpark, make them an offer. It's much better than a C8.
My only reservation is... Florida car. I don't trust Florida cars -- lots of title washing.

991.2 gets you a contemporary looking steering wheel and Carplay. Should be a great car.

Well at least it has the warranty if anything goes wrong! I really do love the C8 but they just don't hold their value as much as I would like plus can't go wrong starting with a base 911 and working my way up right?

In my opinion the base and the T are the sweet spot in the range and all you really need in a daily driven sports car.

Porsche doesn't make a bad one. The Base car, especially a 991.2 base, is plenty quick. While controversial at the time, Miami Blue has aged well.

Was it a controversial color? It's my favorite next to Mexico blue

I happen to be at this dealership tomorrow and will take a look. As noted, Auto Nation dealers typically have a fixed price. Bought a 911S there last year. Car I bought hhas performed very well but has a few interior what Porsche calls wear and tear issues.

You can get a C8 Z06 at MSRP for 2024. For example dealer has an2024 LT3 for $132K. Is it crazy to spend even $90K on a car that is 5 years old and no warranty and 300HP? less. You can get base C8 used (2020) for $55K with 15K miles.......

I hear the 0-60 and 1/4 mile on a Tesla Model 3 performance is much faster than a 991.2, may be everyone should skip the 991.2 base and buy a Tesla?

90k would be a fairer price IMO, but maybe they’re tacking on a few more K for the CPO. As others mentioned, I wouldn’t pay almost 100K for an interior with a plastic dash and door panels that may warp next summer (and not be covered?). But if you’re planning on a TTS sometime in the near future, why not save your money and use it for that? When you sell this 911, it will result in a net loss and less money to put towards the TTS no matter what.

You don't think the corvettes depreciation is going to be worse? I wasn't planning on putting any capital down, just trading in the vette and paying on this. Also is the plastic that bad??? Everyone seems to be put off by it lol

Or you can read what Thread Starter said, acknowledge that they already own a 2023 C8, and want to get into 911 while saving money on depreciation since turbo S is their dream car. You pointing out how cheap C8's have gotten only in a couple of years just proves their point. Also, this car is CPO, which means there is warranty.

@Tormeno , IMO this is way overpriced. 95k gets you into 992 territory with lower miles as well. This one shouldn't be more than 75-80k. Doesn't have anything going for it except Miami Blue paint. I would chose nicer spec over lower mileage every time. Spending this kind of money and sitting in plastic interior, basic seats and none of the nice options like Sport Chrono, PSE will just make you regret your purchase, especially after plush C8.
Good luck on your search

Its a very base 911 besides the Miami blue. Just wondering what the professionals think of it.
Where does he mention trading in a C8 on this post??

There is nothing wrong with the Plastic dash in the 911. Holy ****, a piece of cow hide makes a difference?? If I want a luxury sedan I will buy a LC500

I am pretty sure if you offer them $90K they will take that deal - Go for it if you like the car which is what matters.

I also agree with the above post: How dare can you consider buying a Porsche that is not covered with cow skin all over the place with deviated stitching and all of that crap. That stuff is for peasants only!

In all seriousness, it is a very good looking car.

Keep us posted on what you end up doing.
