Weird the alarm on my 2018 991.2 goes off at night only maybe because it gets cold or something. It’s been happening for the past week a few times per night.

would this be perhaps the alarm module?

Yes I believe it to be the same issue.

There is a frunk latch TSB. Maybe that is causing this issue. Tech said lack of chirp when locking car up or alarm going off can be something like faulty frunk latch/locking.

Chirp on my car when locking is completely random.

No chirp
1 chirp
2 chirp

No rhyme or reason. It always locks and opens and commanded but the chirp (or lack of) is completely random.

So I received the part, installed it in 5 minutes, and it seems to have done the trick. No more 4 way flashers going on out of the blue, and now I get a chirp when I lock the car with the key FOB.

Thanks guys for all the help and advice.

Yes please provide the link. I gotta replace mine as well. Not sure way the car chooses to randomly alarm at the hours of 2am-4am. Maybe because of the cold.

The part came from China therefore one has no idea where it was actually made.
