Finally you use some numbers. 🤣. Still zero mention of numbers that would actually help you. No mention of original spring rates or what you went to. Why is that important? If they went stiffer it will sit higher.

At present, not only have you ruined your geometry, but your rake is out. I know you're not a track guy, but I am and irregardless of. Stance or look or fake feel, you have made your car handle considerable worse. You may not push it hard enough to even notice, but you should address it.

Lowering the car to where you want, you may run out of stick adjustability, so may need to justify buying extra parts for.more to set it right.

The truth shall set you free. Squeezing the dollar too hard, doesn’t always get you what you want.

Tractive

Mine look a little different to yours, we are not the same.

And my springs would like to reply to your 6 21.

Anything useful in this tread even though it is a 991 GTS?

4.0 Thank you for saying we’re not the same. Finally something we can agree on.

Hello ranlor79, I am currently going through the same issue with my recently installed HAS kit. Front is barely lowered on the lowest setting. In an edit to your initial post you mentioned KW was able to resolve the issue for you. Do you mind sharing how the situation was resolved to allow you to set the front at a lower position?

Thanks in advance.

Well, it took a lot of emails to KW with images, serial #s, and who did the work. A few phone calls to KW with the installer and myself. Finally, they agreed to send another set of springs that were shorter. I had to bear the expense of having them installed again. I had to sign a waiver releasing KW from any liability. Now it’s possible to go too low.

Thanks so much for the details. I am going through the emails now and had previously provided part #s for each component of the kit, vehicle height measurements, photos of the vehicle, photos of the install, etc, etc. All that to be told the best solution is for me to raise the height of my rear... That was unexpected as I've had 3 other vehicles with KWs products with great experience.

Anyway, very strange that this still remains a mystery. I suspect the difference in the folks who are able to properly lower their front is the difference in the height of the purple perch for the helper spring. Just a guess though. How has your experience been with the shorter springs? I know it's been a while since it's been resolved but would you happen to have a part # or any identifier for these shorter springs?

My apologies for the delay response. I thought the same, for me, I didn't see the purpose of the helper spring since it was fully compressed at rest. Not enough seat time to speak about the springs. I never really drove the car with the original KW springs. I'm running a DSC controller with fairly stiff settings in sport and much softer settings in normal. I'm sitting at the lowest KW would recommend which is 350mm F and 355 mm R. I don't have FAL so I do drag coming out of my driveway but haven't noticed any issues anywhere else. I will probably raise it a 6mm to get a little more clearance just for peace of mind.
As for driving, it's rock solid on cornering in sports mode and do notice some 'spongy' feel when in normal mode due to the DSC.
I take the wheels off ever so often for a deep clean and when I do I will send you the part #s. I do have this from what KW sent ini an email which may be the #s for the springs they sent but I don't know for sure
Part number 253 71 043 / 273 71 043

No worries. I appreciate your willingness to share. I was able to work things out with KW and they will send me a replacement pair of springs for my fronts. The spring they offered is part #60210272 and is 20mm shorter than the front springs that came with the kit. These springs have slightly lower compression rate at 223 lbs/in vs 226 lbs/in. Thanks KW! Not only good products from my past experiences but also great customer support.
