Ah Ha, I When I bought the 991 (2019 Base Cab) It seemed very noisy....coming from a 2013 Boxster. I thought it was the Michelins,,,
Our last 911 an 06 S, as I remember was much quieter... So they removed sound deadening

Im running DWS 06 on my DD 991.1 for the second year. They are supper quiet when new but they will get louder after about 3k miles. not too bad but not same as when they were new.
Overall, however, i still prefer the ride, noise and predictable traction limits of DWS over P0 that was on there before (and p0 weren't old either still hated them).

500 miles into my DWS06's (swapped for cold weather in New England from PZero's) and they are noticeably quieter day to day.
I also had them on Corvette for cold weather, and I love these tires.
EDIT: Another ~150 miles this morning on mixed surfaces. Definitely quieter than the N-spec Pirellis.

We swapped from some sort of Bridgestone A/S RFT tire on my wife's X3 to the Conti's mentioned above (DWS06) and she appreciated the significantly improved agility of the car, but made no comment about comfort or ride noise.
I also switched from some PS4S tires on my M4 during the summer to the same DWS06 for the rest of the year. I know these are not in the same league of performance, but I felt a MASSIVE difference in braking ability. The Conti's overload very easily under heavy breaking compared to the PS4S. They are excellent 90+% of the rest of the time. Not particularly helpful considering they are different classes of tire, but sharing for fun.

Had PS4S and didn’t like them. Wife’s car, same thing. She hates them. Very overrated tire.
For everyday driving P0s have been our tire of choice. They come as OE on the 2023 992 TT from factory, enough credibility for me.
And even after honeymoon, very acceptable noise levels, if not nearly the same as when they were new.
DWS/Conti’s… phenomenal tire especially as all-season. Best on the market IMO.

I have found the Michelin PS4S to be much better than the N spec P-zeros in Minnesota. Any temp below 60 and the P-zeros got really squirrelly whereas the Michelins seem less temperature sensitive. I also found the Michelins to be much better in the rain and handling the occasional patch of black ice. Dry, warm weather I can't really tell a difference.
