Also depending on the friendship level, you may not even need a PPI as I know with my good friends, we would work things out. A car with that low miles and assume well taken care of shouldn't have any obvious issues that you can tell from a PPI other than brakes, tires, consumable stuff.
Perhaps if you wanna go deep you can borscope to check for cylinder scoring, but that's pretty rare on this motor.
With those savings and I assume a good friend, just buy it and enjoy it.

Yeah don't even mention a PPI. Just buy it making it as easy as possible and be grateful that you have such a nice friend. If it breaks down the road you are so ahead of the curve so who cares.
