2019 991.2 water pump (out of warranty)
#46
Update:
Porsche had my 911 for a week.
Vacuum Unit 9P1-251-837 (2) replaced. Tech called them “pods” also listed as “Elements for exhaust flaps.”
Tech told me they were leaking. When measured, vacuum was insufficient at 22 inch pounds & s/b 25-27 inch pounds.
Also replaced:
Vacuum hose 9P1-111-501-00
Vacuum hose 9P1-111-503-00
He told me no problem with coolant pump & No coolant in the vacuum lines, pump or block.
I asked where the 16 oz of coolant went. I had topped off b4 I brought car in to them. He said maybe air pocket. But, he did not add or flush coolant & it is still full.
He said heat now works & this problem explains the no heat.
He also said the vacuum system is very complicated.
I hope no more coolant leak or MFD message with code:
P1432 vacuum system fine leak – cooling system fault.
