Our kit comes with a PDK tune, which is critical given the amount of power added (as it would be on a high power 991.2 or 991 Turbo).

Estimate about 25-30hrs install. Nothing difficult that a good DIY home mechanic can’t do. No cutting, everything can return to stock if necessary.

Got a 991.1 GTS as well, read a lot about DeMan's work and it is wonderful to see my exact thought getting realised before I actually invest $$ lol.
Would love to know more about the cost, power gain across the whole rev range and reliability. It should be the actual 'GT3 Touring' taking care of both daily and trackday if I'm not being too optimistic.

I have spoken with Rick and he has been extremely helpful and insightful. My biggest concern is the 98 octane fuel that is required for the engine. In California, most gas stations only have 91 octane. His suggestion is to add Boostane to the tank with each fill-up. One bottle of Boostane is about $20. But it takes more than a bottle to get the gas from 91 to 98. I just don't see myself wanting to have to deal with adding Boostane to the tank every time I drive the car. I have 56,000 miles on my GTS, so it is not just a weekend fun car.

Rick offered to modify the 4.5 L engine to accommodate 91 octane fuel (for no extra charge). He told me that there would be about a 5% loss of peak HP, compared to the 4.5 L engine with 98 octane gas. For me, that is a very worthwhile tradeoff. I have not pulled the trigger yet, but in speaking with Rick, he indicated the car can be done in a week or so, so the turnaround from pickup (in LA) to drop-off is a month or less. Cost, all-in, is about $50,000.

Porsche911GTS'16, Boostane Pro (different formula than regular "Boostane Performance") comes in 32 oz bottles. To get 98 octane from 91 pump gas, you add 1 oz Boostane Pro per gallon of 91. So, no, it does not take "more than a bottle" to get from 91 to 98. I also have 2 gas stations in my area that sell 100 octane pump gas, albeit at $10/gallon. Have you researched your area's high octane pump gas options? The Unocal 76 at 11675 W Pico Blvd sells race gas at the pump.

Scott - I was referring to a 16 oz bottle. So, if it's a 32 oz bottle, you are correct, it is less than a bottle. Either way, to me, I know that having to carry around bottles of Boostane in my frunk for every time that I fill up would be an annoyance. I sometimes take my GTS on 1,000+ miles drives. So, I would be willing to sacrifice a little bit of the 4.5 engine's performance for the sake of convenience. My Touring's 4.0 liter engine seems to do just fine on 91 octane gas, so if and when I get the engine, I will have Rick create the 91 octane engine.

The $50,000 I quoted includes parts, labor and having the car sent by truck from LA to NY and back. It does not include taxes.

Yes, although the heads and cams are not what the 991.1 Power Kit offers but the intake and Software are excellent.

Not sure exactly what you mean, but in addition to our superchargers, we manufacture 991coil over conversions, billet deep sump oil pans, and we usually have exhausts & headers in stock.
