Default PDLS+ settings during day

Hi Guys,

I have a 2017 991.2 GT3 with PDLS+

I tried to find, but did not succeed...Is there a setting to have the follow me home activated during the day? I'd like the lights to be ON when opening or closing the car even during the day.

Thanks

No idea what you're talking about.

What does it look like that you want it to stay on all the time? Pictures would help.

I think they want the headlights to be on when they leave the car / lock it. Similar to the headlights staying at night when you lock the car.

I have never noticed if the 911 does this at night, but i suspect it won't do it during the day due to the ambient light being too bright during the day.

Yes, you exactly understood what I tried to say .

the « follow me home » allows someone to go from his car to the door of his house in the dark by keeping some lights ON for a time that you could set or change in the settings. It only works when the sensors understand that’s it night/dark.

I wanted to know if there are some settings that could allow this to work even during day time

You can, obscure the light sensor near the top of the rear view mirror.

It'd work as intended, though if you set your lights to auto, this will also activate your headlights all the time.

So you'll need to control your lights manually if you do it this way.

Out of curiosity, why do you want the lights to be during the day when you leave the car?

@NCheok is correct, cover up the sensor and the lights will be on all the time.

Simply stupidly because I like it aesthetically

I'm stupid enough to go back walking backwards just to admire the car...I know I need a psychologist
I always have the lights on Auto Set, I will not put some tape on the sensor because it will disturb the proper operation of the automatic mode during driving.
(But If I would have appreciate to have the cluster Always illuminated to be more easily visible)

Obviously, this does not seem possible just with the settings
