I just wait until I get a rock crack or serious chip and then my comprehensive insurance covers a new Porsche OEM windshield no questions asked $250 deductible. Clearly a comprehensive insurance item.
Same pitting here on my ‘13 C2S, 30k miles…anyone tried a polish procedure on the glass?
I have polished a windshield. It wasn't on a Porsche, but rather on a classic car with a non-original (aftermarket) windshield. The windshield was still probably 30 years old. Polishing worked for most of the shallower stuff and wiper streaks. There were quite a few bigger pits that I wasn't willing to spend the time to work out. It wasn't hard to do.
