^ Also important to remember @4 Point 0 is not only using his 991.2, but has significant mods iirc—that's really important when considering his feedback. The car is more powerful, and if I remember right, is running much higher spring rates. The couple of times I was out on track in my Carrera, I found myself wishing I was on Cup 2s but knew I'd also want (at least) 10-15% more spring…but that's a (very) slippery slope with a sports car for the street or daily driver.

They need to make a cup2-R with more tread fir the ultimate track day tyre. Whilst they are a PB tyre, I can still get 4 half track days from them with street driving in between. A little less PB and more tread would make them perfect. They have much narrower tread grooves and much stiffer side wall.

Now you guys are making me regret putting on a fresh set of PS4S's last month instead of the CUP 2's! How many miles do you get out of a set? Aside from that, the price of CUP2's is really a limiting factor, are they that much better than the Nankang CR-S or Goodyear Eagle SC3?
