Default Exhaust leak?

I’ve had some discoloration on my PSE on the R side. Today I moved the car and found water around the discoloration. I don’t see any leaks anywhere else. Is this an exhaust leak and if so what’s the best way to address it?

Thanks,
NF

Year and miles?

Looks like corrosion going on.

An exhaust leak telltale is black soot around the source and there's some black color there. By-product of combustion is water and may have come from within the muffler at a low point if it's holed.

Taking the strap off should allow you see what's going on.

If there's a hole they sell patching materials but replacement may be in store. Good luck.

Not an expert but water in the muffler would get evaporated and pushed out on vigorous, extended drives, so maybe your driving patterns could be a factor.

Rain driving doesn’t seem like a factor here.

Let us know the verdict.

I had a similar exhaust leak on the center muffler. It was new, purchased from a dealer and luckily still under warranty, but a failed weld after less than 1 year and probably 7k miles. Looks like something similar, behind the mounting bracket on the horizontal weld on your first pic.

That looks very similar and may be the answer.
