With non-PSE Carrera S programing, the valves will be open until 5mph from a stop. If you go over 5mph, they will close and not open again until you stop. They will then open again at 3300RPM under a partial load. From what I understand, PSE switch opens the valves all the time, but a camera would certainly validate this.
