If you're not going to DIY be aware the dealer solution is to replace the entire assembly. Parts alone are about $2600.

No worries. I'm not one to shame those who didn't find old threads, I prefer to help and guide.

I hope the solution is easy and affordable for you. I remember reading a thread where someone had machined simple metal brackets to replace the cheap ones. There's some really resourceful people out there.

The spoiler mechanism is over 4000 these days.

i can sell a broken one if you want to DIY fix it and just hot swap it.
