Gotta admit, I've always wanted a Guards Red 911. Ended up with a white 911T manual which doesn't suck. Neighbor has a Carmine Red Cayenne GTS. She's (the car) a looker.

 

I love the white and was going to buy a 2016 991.1 gts in white but wound up buying the Carmine Red 991.2 gts. I liked the subtle look of white but the Carmine Red is stunning and it was just a better deal, lower mileage, newer, and had more options I liked.
Since I buy pre owned regardless of budget one of the things I learned over many years is to find the right deal, and the car the checks most of your boxes. Some flexibility on color and the less important items makes finding the best deal a little easier.
White was my first choice. Personally I only buy white or black cars. Red is only a third option, and only on a Porsche or Ferrari.

 

Man I've been looking for a 2017 or 2018 in red and they are HARD to find!

 

Yellow is just as rare!! I had a poster of the RUF Yellowbird on my wall as a kid, and I'm finally in a position to buy a used 911.

Black and silver and white all day long.

 

It's now RL official, surfboards go on drivers side wall of the garage.

Yes it is the fastest color to get spotted by you know who while going fast.

 

Yellow may have higher visibility. There are a lot of yellow safety vests, not a lot of red ones.

 

Yep proper surf board placement is key!

 

There aren’t enough red 911s in the world. There are way too many black 911s.

 

I like red.

 

 

At first I thought the red was a little to bold, but it's grown on me.
