Looking to buy a manual GTS in PTS....
Anyone have anything they are thinking of selling. Open to .1 or .2, looking for a bright blue or fun PTS color and nice spec.

they are only going to keep going up... unless we have a full-blown depression, that is.
happy hunting: BaT, pcarmarket, autotrader, etc.

Should be a ton to choose from. Try to get one with low milesKidding, of course. I'm not sure if I have ever seen a manual 991 GTS in a wild PTS color on these boards..

I remember configuring 991.2s in three specs before pulling the trigger: sporting Carrera with PTS/PCCB/etc, sporting Carrera T with PCCB/etc, and very basic GTS. All were within $5k, and all were appealing.
If I started adding many (or any) of the pricier options I wanted to the GTS, it quickly got into GT3 Touring territory.

Just saw a 2017 4S with manual on Bring a trailer sell for $88,500 with 43K miles. INMO the deal of the year. Loaded also, have no clue why it went so cheap, dealer consignment. sticker was $140? what the difference between in and GTS, nothing with a tune.

Are you asking difference between 4S and 4 GTS? It’s more than just power. Plenty of ready on this forum regarding this exact question.

I have a 991.1 manual GTS in PTS Voodoo Blue. The point I want to make is they're out there. I did a collaboration on my blog w/ Vin Analytics where we pulled a sample of 991.1 GTSs to see which options were most rare. We found that ~5% of the cars in the sample were PTS once we adjusted for Club Coupes and Rennsport VINs.
Here's the post if you want
want additional background on what we discovered... https://www.gtsence.com/how-rare-is-your-991-gts/
Here's the car...
Sorry, not for sale... :-)
I hope you can find yours! Happy to help you if there is some way I can. They're great cars.

Well a low percentage also means not too many buyers wanted it in the first place which could also mean a smaller number of future buyers. Same goes for the high percentage of cars with countless possible colors.
Neither is mine. How often do you find a 3 year old car with 98 miles on it.

I'm a new '12 GTS owner who wanted a specific group of features. The discussion above prompted the question in my mind of how this limited build of cars were specified originally. Did a buyer at the dealership order them with the options that they thought would sell well? Or were a lot of them specified by the future owner?

Personally, I have no use for them either. They have never been opened in my 993 or 991.1 (both metal) other than during a test to make sure they work. And in my daily driver, maybe 15 minutes in 6 years and in fact since it has a glass sunroof, the shade is pulled shut all the time. Hell, if I want an open-air feeling, I'll hop on the motorcycle.
I would have been happy with not having a sunroof, but often it is impossible to option a vehicle like that. For my GTS it was equipped the way I bought it.
