718 GT4 vs 991 Carrera T
Hi,
I just sold my 718 GT4 because I didn't like the exhaust sound when driving around (even with the exhaust valves continuously open), I missed a sunroof and I disliked the long gearing.
Now I am looking into a 991 Carrera T. Does this car sound 'better' than a 718 GT4 with OPF? What in comparison with a 997 Carrera GTS? I think performance-wise on the street they are all at the same level, but I just want some more audible enjoyment than I had with the 718 GT4.
Cheers

Thread for me! I traded my 718 GT4 for a T and couldn’t be happier! I genuinely prefer everything about it sound included. Had the GT4 for six months and still have the T over 2 years later.
I even passed on my allocation on the new T as I couldn’t part with it😊😉

Same here , traded in my 718 GTS 4.0 for a Carrera T for the exact same reasons. I think the T sounds much better, more useable power, more comfortable. Do it

If you desire a bit more refined noise from your T, our equal length headers provide a more GT3 type sound due to the evenly spaced exhaust pulses. We have a number of customer videos in this thread for a sampling of sounds.

The GT4 is a fantastic track vehicle, but the low-end torque and drivability of the T is in a different league for street use.
