Vektor Performance – Customers Putting Vektor Headers to Hard Use
About two years ago, we brought our headers to market for those drivers who prioritized track performance and reliability. To meet those targets, we chose an equal length runner design fabricated from 321 SS with a cast merge. We love nothing more than to see the headers put to use at the track and on the dyno. Our very first customer was a track day junkie in both cars and on motorcycles.
He provided us this great video of the headers being stressed on the dyno.
The side benefit to the equal length header design is a smoothing out of the exhaust note which produces a similar smoothness to the GT3 exhaust note which is equipped with equal length headers from the factory. Have a listen to the car as it pulls away from a stop in the Instagram video link.
We will be adding some more customer experiences soon! We know a few of our customers are track day regulars, please feel free to share any track pictures, dyno plots, time slips, draggy results, or any other instance where you're pushing your cars to the limit.

4 Point 0 may have the fastest track 991.2 GTS in the world that’s not a full-blown race car. His car is modified for as big power as is possible on the stock turbos, but he has also addressed turning, stopping, and cooling. Any car that can lap with and show a GT2RS taillights is really fast around a track. Or in the case of this picture, a McLaren getting left behind.
His current modification list, which may already be out of date:
Vektor Headers
Akrapovic Cats (300 Cell)
AMS Intercoolers
DSC Module
TrackTive Coilovers
IPD Plenum
BMC Filter
COBB PDK Tune
COBB Pro-Tune
Full GT3 Front end
PWR centre Radiator
Brembo GTS BBK 380 mm front and rear
Endless ME20 Pads
Castrol SRF brake fluid
Elephant racing Adjustable bars and spherical bearings
Semi Slicks
Harness Bar
Schroth Harness
PPF
911-R Stripes
Tinted / Blacked out sunroof
Vektor Turbo inlet pipes
Turbo Smart BOV's.

Our customer fsmich has the X51/GTS turbo upgrade on his 991.2 along with our Vektor Performance headers, Akrapovic exhaust, and AMS intercoolers with a COBB Pro-Tune by Mitch of M-Engineering. It's fair to say he likes to go fast around any type of track.
fsmich has a few different maps for fuel octane and a road course track calibration. On the World Motorsport dyno, the car put down just over 540whp with California 91 octane in the tank.
Those of you familiar with tracks in Southern California know a sub 1:30 at Big Willow and sub 2:00 at Buttonwillow CW13 configuration is at the top half of advance run groups.
And for some acceleration data, just under 130mph trap speed using 91 octane with a slight incline no less.

Thanks! The 991.2's are very capable on the track. My coach (a young Randy Pobst), did a 1:54 in the car with me in it. And my last trip to Button another really good driver was doing 1:58's.....in a rental car Enterprise Carrera T!

991.two (Mark Jung) of MFI Werks has a great build thread on the upgrades he has installed on his 2019 Carrera T pushing it up to Turbo levels of power.

Below is a dyno done at approximately 3000 ft altitude from an initial COBB Pro-tune with the following fuel and components: 93 octane & 100 octane, GTS turbo's, Vektor Headers, Soul 200's, Sharkwerks exhaust, AMS intercoolers, Tial inlets. The tune has since been refined to address drive-ability. It is important to see how the car, even with the bigger GTS turbos, spools like the small base turbos with the improvements in flow from the exhaust modifications.

A car getting tuned at APR with our Vektor Performance headers and a hybrid turbo upgrade. There are likely a couple other bolt-on modifications. The car rang up 620whp on the dyno on 93 octane and it sounds good too in our opinion.

Member flickroll brought his GTS to our in-house dyno a while back for a COBB Pro-tune. He's a DIY type of guy and installed our Vektor Performance headers along with AMS intercoolers, Soul cats, and BMC air filter. The end result was 494whp on pump gas. Our dyno does read on the low side with our shop mule C4S showing 330whp completely stock.
