Did an oil change 2012 991 and was plugging in my reset tool when I noticed this module behind the kick panel. Picked up the car used about a year ago. I’m beginning to think it’s some type of fleet tracking device from previous owners but not really sure. Has anyone else found something like this. Thank you ahead of time.

 

It's a Phillips Arrow-VI vehicle tracker, going by the FCC ID.

Lots more info available if you look up that ID number.

 

Sheesh, these things turn up semi-regularly. Apparently throw away items from the dealer?

Maybe I’ll have a look behind that panel myself.
