I take the opposite view. These cars have enough power. If your car runs top shape (and I bet it does) with zero problems, why would you mess with it especially if you are under warranty. Insurance companies run a business to make money and will look for opportunities not to pay, say on a blown turbo charger, if they find a modification.

I’m 200 miles into my tune on a 17C2. It’s fantastic. Yes, it’s more power than you need on the street, but it’s super fun, and that’s what this is about. I’m not worried about damage because the base engine is the same as the s and gts, it can handle the power (I know the gts has bigger turbos).

Do it don’t hesitate it’s money well spent if you’d like to have fun as far as the warranty goes. It only lasts so long like anything else and you can’t buy these cars and expect not to have to pay the piper one or the other just keep up the maintenance and there isn’t any really big thing you’re gonna have to worry about they’re basically bulletproof unless you wanna go over the top and do things that you really shouldn’t be doing with the car Softronics five star absolutely well worth it on the base model !!!

Gosh darn it... I am going to have to call Scott and order this next week. I hate to say this but coming from my BM3 stage 1 F80 to the 991.2 GTS is a bit less exciting if you aren't on a track feeling the dynamic limits of the chassis. I find myself missing thrust of that S55. The 911 is way better tied down and responsive, but I do miss the grunt of that F80, hoping this will get closer to that experience.

@tripleJS
It's really not complicated at all. If you have a good working computer and are able to follow step-by-step instructions, then you'll have no issues. There is nothing very techy about this.

I would add that Scott at @Softronic is very helpful. He will answer any questions you have about the installation process to make it easy.
