So I recently took delivery of this car and within 10miles of driving I was greeted with the yellow warning and engine check light. Had an oil change place check the codes (screenshots attached). Car is supposed to be under manufacturer warranty so Carvana advised to take it there.
Wanted to know more about these errors and if its a result of a tune perhaps?
Sure, it may be theoretically covered under the manufacturers warranty, but you might also learn that the errors are the result of a modification and not covered under warranty. 911s dont typically end up at Carvana, especially given the dollars these cars have commanded over the past year. It may have ended up in Carvanas hands for a reason. Your 7 day clock is running and by the time a Porsche shop diagnoses it, your time may run out.

You are right, I only just took delivery today, so I have 6 more days. Ill see what the dealer says tomorrow, and if they can get me in on time. If not Im gonna call Carvana to take it back.
I was hoping to learn if these errors codes are known to be associated with mods or otherwise a red flag. Because it could very well be just a faulty sensor and Carvana probably never touched or tested the car enough to trigger it.
IMO, take it to a Porsche dealer and see what they find, or send it back to Carvana, depending on where you are in the 7 day return period. Carvana also gives you 100 day limited warranty. You shouldnt lose money checking.
Not something you want to deal with too much during your expensive purchase honeymoon. Good luck!
A quick search shows P2262 came up via a tune (Softronic, which was easily fixed) and from a failed throttle body. No clue which relates to your issue. P1372, I've seen a few references to oil in the passenger turbo causing issues (small amount of oil is normal). When the car is warm, what do the oil levels show?
But if you traded in a vehicle to Caravan to get this 911, youre not going to get it back if you take the car you bought from them, back to them. They dont do that. I think they give you a low ball check for the value of the traded in vehicle.

interesting. So the oil gauge hovers between 1 and 2 on idle. While driving to goes beyond 2 to 3 ish. Not sure why that happens. Also the engine stop start function works erratically, on some stops it doesnt turn the engine off and some it does. I turned it off on a couple of drives.

On the dash, youre seeing the oil pressure gauge. That will go up with the revs.
Automatic Start/Stop wont activate if the state of battery charge is too low. I typically turn it off anyway. I wouldnt read anything into its behavior.

You need to get to the multi-function display to see the oil levels.
Just checked, oil measurement is green and up to the Max mark. Ran it while off and also while idling
Best bet is to see what the dealer says but the threads I read talked about oil frothing when too much/too little oil, which caused additional oil to get into the passenger turbo. The MFD oil measurement is not 100% accurate so maybe too much oil?
you've clearly been uncertain about this car from the beginning
now it's throwing fun codes
methinks something is wrong with it, the previous owner didn't want to deal with it, and didn't want to deal with selling it to someone who knew 991s, so they tossed it to a bulk reseller.

Could be true - If this ends up being a deep the rabbit hole with the dealership/PPI, I might pull the plug and initiate return. Instead of gambling with this.
I honestly was just tired of dealing with dealerships and the asking prices/add-ons even on used vehicles. So I thought lets take a chance since this car has factory warranty left over.
Edit: as for dumping a 991.2 on carvana, it could have just been a case of making money on it since Carvana was pay people a lot to buy cars earlier last year. This particular one based on the pictures posted by them might have been an auction buy and "inspected" by partner agency not carvana themselves (had heard mixed opinions on that, some said 3rd parties did a better job than carvana, some said the opposite.
