This looks to be an awesome product but why does it look like its in two pieces? is it 3D printed or injection mold? If injection, why the seam in the middle?
Edit. upon closer look at photos looks to me like its a 3d print. am i correct on that?

The seam is deliberate for 2 reasons; one as a visual break/feature similar to what Porsche has done in the past on some of their models on longer trim parts, and the second is for manufacturing purposes.

@malahhaor thanks for your question. Yes the parts are 3D printed, and professionally finished to match the OEM black plastic trim on the 991.
The seam is deliberate for 2 reasons; one as a visual break/feature similar to what Porsche has done in the past on some of their models on longer trim parts, and the second is for manufacturing purposes.
