Default Where are you guys sourcing aftermarket parts for your 991s?

I was looking for a new front spoiler lip for my '16 GTS which as everyone knows gets pretty thrashed after a few thousand miles. These were about $230 a couple of years ago at Suncoast. Now $575! Throw in timely shipping and painting and you are well north of $1K! Inflation? Covid? Everything is higher I know but this seems pretty crazy. Any reasonable stores/sites for this type of gear? Thanks in advance

Sunset Porsche is a strong competitor against Suncoast.

Suncoast has significantly raised their prices (inflation is a excuse for greed when it’s over 10 percent increase on parts they already have in stock) Just avoid them and shop sunset as mentioned above.

Porsche Dealers offering discounts: (cheaper for some parts than OEM)
https://www.oemluxuryparts.com/
https://www.gaudinporscheparts.com/
https://www.delawareporscheparts.com/
https://www.harperautoparts.com/
https://www.getporschesilverspringparts.com/
https://www.sunsetporscheparts.com
https://www.suncoastparts.com

OEM:
https://www.fcpeuro.com (Lifetime Parts Replacement Guarantee)
https://www.autohausaz.com/
https://www.ecstuning.com/

I would not buy from eBay unless sold by a known/reputable seller, same goes for Amazon. Many counterfeit parts out there

Local Porsche dealer will not discount parts. Even the ones that do via the web (listed above), do not offer such discounts to a retail customer at the parts counter - different business model.

I’ve received discounts at the local dealer. They realize you will go elsewhere. If your car is in for servicing and needs parts, there is no discount. That’s been my experience.

When I had to rebuild my bumper after hitting something the splitter, fins and the plastic ducting components that were behind, the dealer had a better price. 24 hour turn around plus a 10% PCA discount.

I live near Nashville and everything I needed was in Atlanta so it was on the next delivery truck headed north.

Shipping for some of the longer, bigger parts was just outrageous from online suppliers.

Yes, local dealers sometimes offer 10% discounts (PCA, etc) and also often start with above MSRP pricing.
