Default Porsche 'Used' Parts from Latvia on eBay?

There are an unusual number of Porsche 'used' parts from Latvia on eBay. Is Latvia a 'chop shop' for stolen European Porsches?

I was close to purchasing a carbon fiber steering wheel from Ebay from this Latvia shop - the owner has good reviews and communicated decently with me. I ended up finding the same wheel here and purchased to avoid shipping/ebay issues...

Same here. The shipping was shockingly fast.

Yes they deliver the goods, but what is the source of all these used in good condition parts. Why Latvia? Lots of Porsche owners in Latvia who wrecked their Porsches?

Can I get a link to said Latvia sources?

I love bargains and don't care where they are from as long as they are genuine parts.

Got many parts from Lev - ronin1@inbox.lv

He is on ebay running a salvage part out business. Legit seller. Shipping direct from Latvia.

There are tons of BMW parts from somewhere in Latvia on eBay. I know a bunch of people who have ordered things like the e39 euro thin lower dashes, carbon trim kits, etc. without issue.

It's usually a recycler/junkyard. Could be a chop shop, but eh.

I wouldn't be concerned, personally.

How funny is that... I thought the same yesterday! I was looking for s place that had a new OEM MAP Sensor in stock to get asap, and I also noticed they were selling a bunch of pre-owned ones from Latvia. Who would buy any sensor used? Especially for basically the same price as new (in my case).

'What goes around comes around.' Might find the remains of 'your' Porsche being sold from a chop shop web site some day.
